About "The Heart of Knowing God and Faith" Series

"For the word of the Lord is right (true, upright), and all His work is done in truth." - Psalm 33:4

It has been deeply impressed upon our hearts—a call to bring people closer to knowing God intimately through His Word. The Bible is the very foundation of our faith, and it needs to take root in our lives. We’ve walked through the wilderness of not wanting to read the Bible, finding it boring, dismissing it as a fanciful story, claiming “no time,” and prioritizing everything else. We’ve been there and done that.

And then there were the lofty annual ambitions of “I shall read the Bible this year!” that did not come to fruition. Yet we also knew that “All Scripture is God-breathed…” (2 Timothy 3:16-17), so we ought to read it and know it.

It wasn’t overnight that God’s Word became “more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.” (Psalm 19:10). Reflecting on our own spiritual journey, we realized it wasn’t about how “solid” a particular study material or method was. It was about consistency and commitment—to opening that divine book called the Bible and getting to the core of our faith: “Do I know God? Do I REALLY know God?”

Perhaps you have questions or doubts about your faith and God and feel like you have nowhere or no one to turn to. That is what this community is about! It will be a safe space to explore and deepen our faith, to BELIEVE in the one true God together. It’s not about how fast we can finish a study but about creating a comfortable pace that allows for meaningful discussions each week. Remember, consistency is key.

So come join us on this transformative journey of knowing God intimately through His Word. Invite a friend to study alongside you! We welcome anyone who might be seeking the truth of God to join us on this journey!

You are welcome to join us at any stage of our study. We trust that God’s timing is perfect, and He has led you to begin your Bible study journey now.

ABOUT THIS STUDY

“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments…This is My commandment, that you love one another just as I have loved you." – John 14:15, 15:12

How should we respond after knowing God?

Let’s be honest, loving God and loving others can be challenging. But love is the core and mandate of our faith because God is love (1 John 4:16).

Join us to explore this truth, share our struggles, and encourage each other towards genuine faith. Together, we can learn to live out the greatest commandments: to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. (Matthew 22:38-39)

So that by this, all men will know that we are Jesus’ disciples, if we have love for one another. (John 13:35)

"Loving God and Others: The Heart of True Faith" Synopsis

What Does God Really Want from You?I

t's easy to get confused about how to please God. One Bible teacher details a long list of the commands you should be keeping. The next teacher says only grace matters. Who is right?

Centuries ago, in answer to this question, Jesus simplified all the rules and regulations of the Law into just two great commands: love God and love people.

Loving God and Others looks at how these two commands define the heart of Christian faith. As you rest in the certain knowledge of what God calls you to, you will be challenged to live these commands out-and discover how obeying Jesus' simple commands will transform not only your life but also the lives of those around you.
